I was born and grew up in St .Louis, Missouri. After graduating from high school, I entered the NROTC program at Ohio State University. I then entered Flight Training and received my wings in 1964 as a Naval Flight Officer. I flew in Viet-Nam in 1966, and subsequently left Active Duty in 1974 as a Lieutenant. I joined the Navy Reserve that year, and stayed until I retired in 1991 as a Captain. From 1974 until 1985, I was a contractor/consultant to the Federal Government. I then began my Federal Civil Service career which consisted of 16 years at the National Security Agency as a Senior Computer Scientist from 1985-2001. After that, I worked again as a contractor/consultant until I retired from the EDS Corporation in 2007 as an Intelligence Community Senior Consultant. Subsequently, I was a Senior Consultant to the FBI for a year.
I received my doctorate in Business Administration from Century University, Albuquerque, NM in 1994. I also have an MSA from GWU, along with my degree from Missouri.
Currently, I am an Election official with Shenandoah County at Orkney Springs, and am a volunteer librarian for the Shenandoah County Library System at the Basye Branch.
