April 11, 2018 Chapter Meeting

 

 

April’s meeting will feature a presentation by Howard Feldstein, Director of Arlington Employment Center.  He will tell us about full and part time jobs available in Arlington County government and numerous other county services available for seniors located in the same building as the Center.  The Center, located at 2100 Washington Blvd (2nd Street S and Washington Blvd is easily accessed from 2nd St S near Washington Blvd

Meetings

Chapter 7 typically meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. at the Walter Reed Community and Senior Center, 2909 16th St South, Arlington, VA  22204..  A social period starts at 12:00 noon. No meetings are held in July and August, and luncheons are usually held at a local restaurant in June and December. The meetings feature notable speakers on a wide range of topics. If you have an idea for a topic or speaker, please let one of the officers know.

The Chapter’s Executive Board meets at 10 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month, except June and July, at Thomas Jefferson Community Center. These meetings are open to Chapter members.

Meetings are cancelled if Arlington Public Schools have an unscheduled closing.
