Chapter 685
WILLIAMSBURG (COLONIAL)
Meets at the Fort Magruder Crowne Plaza, 6945 Pocahontas Trail (Route 60 E,
Williamsburg on the second Tuesday of each month, except June, July and
August. The meetings start with an 11:15 a.m. social time, a buffet lunch
at 11:30 followed by a short program of interest to members, a chapter
business meeting and ends at approximately 1:30 p.m.
(The hotel is located next to several earthworks used by the CSA when
General "Prince" John Magruder delayed McClellan's advance upon Richmond
in the Peninsula Campaign (Battle of Williamsburg).

Chapter 685 cordially invites
active/retired Federal employees to attend our chapter meetings.
Chapter Activities

Speaker at each meeting to discuss issues of interest to current and
retired federal employees.
- Publish quarterly newsletter for chapter members.
- Raise funds for Alzheimer’s.
Support local charities and organizations.

A chapter picnic, or other social activity, is held each June.

Additional chapter outings, such as
cruises and tours, are also held as members desire.

Chapter service officer, James Baker [],
assists members, families and survivors and keeps members
informed regarding retirement benefits and programs.
