Tuckahoe Chapter 1727 proudly supports 100% The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association’s national agenda, along with the goals and objectives of the Virginia Federation of Chapters.

Attendance at chapter meetings continued to increase throughout the year and we are exceedingly proud of their commitment. Our goal is to maintain this trend throughout 2012.!

The Holiday Party was a huge success with the highest attendance in recent years. Our special guests were the First Vice President VFC, Luther Santiford, and Area III Vice President, Jack McMurchy, who installed the officers for the year 2012. The Chapter members donated nonperishable food items to Welborne United Methodist Church's Food Pantry. Holiday songs were sung by those in attendance with music supplied by the Church's musician. AN enjoyable time was had by all.

Meeting information

You are invited to join us at our monthly meeting which is held at 1:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month (except July and August) at the Welborne United Methodist Church, 920 Maybeury Drive (corner of Maybeury Drive and Patterson Avenue), Richmond. PLEASE NOTE: IF the Henrico County Schools are closed because of inclement weather on a scheduled meeting day, we will not meet.

Upcoming Programs:

January 3, 2012: This will be a planning meeting to discuss goals, objectives and commitments for 2012.

February 7,2012: At this meeting, we will begin to implement the goals, objectives and commitments for the year. In addition, we will have a speaker, whose name is Jaelyn Munson, Associate Director at the Shady Grove YMCA, to discuss the importance of "Physical Fitness for Seniors."
